Coming off of their debut E.P. Drowner track "Teenage Hitman" provides an excellent example of what Encephalon are truly capable of. Featuring prominent synths and wonderful beats that help move the lyrics along this is really one of my favorite tracks from the album. Invoking images of the early cyberpunk movement, freedom from the "system" and late nights spent around the glowing monitor "Teenage Hitman" is a must listen for anyone looking for something a bit different in the electro/synth/industrial scene.
Encephalon is AWESOME!!!! wish they'd start making another album ..... but, YES, I'd have to agree that "Teenage Hitman" is an excellent choice but don't forget others. "Rise" is probably a favorite of many as well as "Responder", "The Transhuman Condition", and "Drop Dead" --- just a few of my other favorites :-)
