Octopus Project - Hexadecagon

Like a stroll through Disneyland while on shrooms. As the album cover suggests, the music is intentionally styled to sound like it was recorded many moons ago. Perhaps the sole appeal of the album is that it reminds the listener of the good old days, but that is quite the appeal. With nifty electronics and piano parts combined into a progressive, quirky, experimental, and engrossing mix, Hexadecagon is certainly better than it looks.
