Ektoplazm.com

Deviating from the norm a bit to give credit to a great free music site, ektoplazm. Featuring a wide range of genre's (see tag list) the site allows artists to upload albums completely free and let the public do with them as they see fit; I know a few DJ's who've spent all nighters getting new psy-trance tracks from here. The easy to use "browse by style" section is a great place to jump in, and don't forget to look at the albums star/percentage rating!

Trinodia - Human History

Trinodia, with an intentional focus on spacey soundscapes, has crafted one of the best goa trance albums of the year. Oh, and it's free too.

Alienapia - Goapocalipsis

Goapocalipsis would have made it on many "best uptempo trance albums of 2010" lists, and for good reason. Basically, the album has everything a trance fan wants, and more. It's infectious, it's supremely melodic, and it has more synths than you can shake a stick at. Those who like bright, cheesy, epic trance, will like this. Check out a track!

That's some sexy Goa Trance!

Pleiadians - I.F.O. (Identified Flying Object)

In the same light as Hallucinogen's classic album, Twisted, Pleiadians' I.F.O (Identified Flying Object) rockets into space with constant flurries of synthesizers. Absolutely intense but never overbearing, delicious melodies intertwine with the complex, dizzying electronics. Don't take my word for it though, check out a track!

You're in for a wild ride.
